Installation is easy! Simply choose a wall that can support the weight of your board, and use the included hardware to mount your Board Huggers. We recommend using a stud finder to locate the studs in your wall, as this will provide the most secure mounting.

IMPORTANT:
Don’t tighten the bolt. The mounts need to be able to swing to the sides, so they will accomodate themselves to the surboard rail curve.

Dust regularly: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the surface of your Surfboard Huggers on a regular basis. This will help to remove any dirt or debris that may have accumulated on the surface of the wood. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaning products, as these can damage the wood.

Clean spills immediately: If any liquids are spilled on your Surfboard Huggers, be sure to clean them up immediately to prevent staining.

Avoid hanging heavy items on the Surfboard Huggers: While they are sturdy and able to support the weight of a surfboard, it is best to avoid placing heavy items on top of them. This can put unnecessary strain on the wood and may cause it to become damaged over time.

Reapply linseed oil finish as needed: Over time, the linseed oil finish on your Surfboard Huggers may begin to wear off or become dull. When this happens, you can reapply a new coat of linseed oil to help protect the wood and restore its shine. Simply apply a thin layer of oil to the surface of the wood using a clean cloth, and allow it to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.

While our Surfboard Huggers are made from durable hardwood, we do not recommend using them outdoors. Exposure to the elements can cause the wood to warp or rot over time.
